The heavy lamp was expertly packed against any damage during shipping. As a result, the lamp arrived in the condition described by the seller. The seller even took the time to place items related to the lamp in a plastic zipped bag so that they would not get lost during shipping. The lamp now has new feet and a shade and is gorgeous. A+++
