    Nice Sounding Receiver

    This is an older receiver, but HarmanKardon makes nice stuff that stands the test of time. They use real power ratings, and this unit does not disappoint with its modest power output ratings (on paper), it has some real juice. I am using it in a bedroom system, driving a pair of Jamo E660's in a stereo set up, taking full advantage of its many digital inputs. If you can get one, it is a solid receiver with good power.

    solid system

    i bought this used because i know harman/kardon makes a good system. i have a new version that i love, but didn't want to spend $400 again. this is very similar, easy to use, nice sound. good for one room use, has surround option.

    excellent

    I needed a receiver for the media room that we just put in the basement. Was looking for a sony or pioneer. I thought I might as well look for a better brand then those and Harman/Kardon came to mind. Was very happy with the price and downloaded the manual off the internet. It was like new and sounds even better than I could imagine. Very happy

    Great features but overheats.

    Gets hot... hotter than my previous receiver but this has much more features. I guess it's a trade off but I cannot complain, because I bought it cheap.
