About this product

Product Information

Originally developed for Acclaim Entertainment before the publisher filed for bankruptcy in 2004, Emergency Mayhem has been taken out of intensive care courtesy of Codemasters and Warner Bros. Entertainment. The play mechanics closely follow those of Crazy Taxi but with police, fire, and medical rescue vehicles instead of taxicabs. The object is to quickly race through Crisis City's busy streets to reach specific destinations within a time limit. Players must then complete a motion-sensing mini-game to defuse bombs, catch falling people from burning buildings, chase down perps, douse fires, and more. Over 70 mini-games are featured in total, as are various party modes supporting up to four players. Cash bonuses are also awarded for quick and efficient rescue attempts, allowing would-be emergency workers to upgrade their ambulances, fire trucks, police cruisers, and other vehicles.

  • Emergency Mayhem review.

This game is sooo much much fun!!! You get to choose whether you want to be a police officer, a paramedic or a fire fighter. with each one you have challenges that you complete and they are fun and go with whatever public service you choose to be. The game really challenges you. I highly recommend this game, it's not a game for kids under age 10, it's rated 'T' for teen. It's agame that keeps you thinking and you're not sure what to expect next.

  • Pretty Fun!

I think the game is pretty fun, and would be fun for a variety of age groups. I had never heard of this game before, and stumbled across it on Ebay... thought it sounded interesting and so I bought it... I am an adult and I enjoy playing it. One drawback, I would say, is that you can't use the wheel as a controller. I have never been very good at steering with the other controllers, so it is a challenge for me. I would say good for ages 6-adult.

  • Emergency Mayhem -- A blast to play. Great family game

This game has something for everybody. I love it and even my 3 year old nephew loves to play it. The wide variety of missions and fast paced action keep the game interesting and there are surprises around every corner. The game is simple to play yet is a great example of why people would buy a Wii.

  • Emergency Mahem

Game is pretty cool, especially if you work in the Emergency Services field. Sometimes we wish we could do these things in real life, but know we can't or shouldn't, so we can do it here for fun with no recourse. My kids like the game as well, especially for the money I paid for it.

  • Sitting High on The Top of POOP!!!

This game is #1 on the top of a big steamy pile of Crap! Don't even try to play it! Just "Run The Hell Out" if any-one asks you to try and play it! Destroy it at all cost if you come in-to contact with it! If a video-Game clerk trys to sell it to you... Punch them in the nose because they are EVIL and trying to waste a chunk of your life playing a horrible Turd. Graphics: Suck {Super Nes Graphics} Controlls: A Joke {a bad joke} Sound effects: Fingers down a chalk board Replay Value: No one will play it again... unless forced by BIG GUN!
