About this product

Product Information

Blue Heaven is the break-out novel from C. J. Box, the award-winning, #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Joe Pickett series. A twelve-year-old girl and her younger brother are on the run in the Idaho woods, pursued by four men they have just watched commit murder--four men who know exactly who William and Annie are. And where their mother lives. Retired policemen from Los Angeles, the killers easily persuade the local sheriff to let them lead the search for the missing children. Now there's nowhere left for William and Annie to hide...and no one they can trust. Until they meet Jess Rawlins. Rawlins, an old-school rancher, knows trouble when he sees it. He is only one against four men who will stop at nothing to silence their witnesses. But in this thrilling mystery novel from C.J. Box, these ex-cops don't know just how far Rawlins will go to protect William and Annie...and see that justice is done. Blue Heaven is the winner of the 2009 Edgar Award for Best Novel.

No complaints here! Arrived later than advertised, but that was fine. Good communication by seller. 150-year old book actually arrived in better condition than I expected even though it was delivered inside a thin plastic envelope. For the sale price, I am a very happy customer. Thank you!

    Lightweight with great features...

If you like C.J. Box then this is a great read for you. I really enjoy how I can read it without the batteries going dead. It's always ready to go with you anywhere. Toss it around in your backpack or truck and it doesn't break. Can be used just about anywhere at anytime. Good to keep a few on hand for when the power goes out.

  • On the edge of your seat read! Could NOT put it down!

This is the first CJ Box I have read and I loved, loved, loved it. I am normally not a novel reader but this one was recommended to me and she was right on,sid it was a good read and I would love it. In fact I have recommended this book to everyone. I have since read some other CJ Box books...however the Joe Picket series just did not keep my interest as Blue Heaven and Three Weeks To Say Goodbye did. I would highly recommend this book especially if you live in the area of which he writes...he is so spot on from the characters to locational culture....I loved it!

  • Another great C.J. Box story.

Great book! I've read almost all of C.J. Box. Never disappointed.

  • Another very good book by CJ Box.

This is another very good book by CJ Box. It involves children who are persued by several grown and respected men. It's frightening when you must put yourself in the situation as the children, who are away from home (not safe there) and trying to get help, while not knowing who can be trusted. As usual, the desctiptions of the area are very good, and the dialogue is easy to read.
