Item was exactly as described and shown. Packaging was secure, yet surprisingly sound to ensure that the item would not end up lost or damaged upon arrival — especially inside the case itself. Disc plays as intended as all data to provide a smooth and enjoyable experience into both the previews and special gift process is fully intact. Communication with the seller was also effective, yet attentive in answering any questions or concerns that came their way. Highly recommended.

  • X-Men Vs.Street Fighter

This is X-men vs Street fighter! To start this off, a lot of reviewers have mercilessly bashed the Playstation home conversion of this game for its lack of tag team play, and choppy animation. I wont deny these flaws, but in this conversions defense, the flaws are only due to the technical limitations of the Playstation, which has the only US console version of this game that there is. Being a long time arcade/2D fighter fanatic myself, I find this game to be an awesome collectors item due to the fact that it is the first of its kind. The Capcom Versus series has been running strong now for 13+ years, and this is where it all started. If you can look past the aforementioned technical flaws, you will find a super cool character selection, awesome in game artwork, and Capcoms' signature 2D ...

  • Not all it's cracked up to be

While X-Men vs Street Fighter is a wonderful game, the PlayStation (1) port of the game lacks the critical gameplay feature that made it popular in the first place: Tag team ability. In the arcade, players choose two characters to form their team, and they can tag the other character in at any time to let their first character rest. While the PSX port has all the same graphics and smooth gameplay, players only choose one character, and a second "assist" character, who can only come in for one move then leave, or can join for one single super combo and leave, but it does not support full tag team matches, and changes the format to a best of 3 rounds, rather than one long round. It's quite inferior to, say, the Sega Saturn version, but that's much rarer and no one plays a Saturn. Any other ...

  • The Original Crossover!

Graphics-82/Sound-82/Controls-85/Blast Force-83/Overall-83 I remember for all it's quirks, for me this was a solid fighter which I thouroghly enjoyed. My how it shows it's age, especially on a PS3. I still like playing it, but it just pumps me up even more for MvC3. Everything is okay, and everything is dated. I think I accidently skipped the ending I got for Wolverine, and of course, there's no theatre mode or anything, so to see it again, you have to-yep-play it again, Sam. It's not worth the ungodly price that most seller's are commanding, which is why I'm especially proud of myself for getting this badboy for under 50 wu and just giving it a new jewel case, which I will inevitably replace that one too with a higher quality one. But all in all, this is the same game as MvC2 with ...

  • Solid game, not so solid playstation port

I remember playing this game on a cabinet in a mall where I live, and I remember being blown away by it. Playing it on a MAME machine also proved very enjoyable. I heard that the playstation port lacked some features (eg. true tag team action) but didnt expect this. There were loads of sprites cut from the game, and even with that some combos will slow the game down to near halt. Although it is very possible to play through this, it can be annoying sometimes. Overall I'd recommend getting the game if the price is right, but not spending too much on a less than adequate port.

  • X-Men vs Street Fighter

This is one of the best games I've ever played, been looking for this game for 11 years and finally is mine. Non stop action in 2-D several x-men characters as weill as street fighter and it doesn't get old. The game came almost new, minus a couple of wrinkles in the booklet, but it doesn't matter cuz the game has absolutely no scratches, almost as if no one has played the game since purchase. I will treasure this game and never sell it,thanks for giving me the chance to buy back a piece of my childhood, thanks!!!!!!!!!!
