    Awesome Hard Drive

    I was looking for a second 1TB HD for my old computer and replaced both of the devices because the master drive failed. Now this old computer is faster than my newer i7 Intel processor laptop. I was able to install it and with a few tweeks to the setup process, had it going. It took literally minutes to get it up and running. Don't hesitate to buy this HD.

    One of the fastest Hard drives on the market

    I ran a benchmark test on this HDD and it beat my old Seagate Barracuda 500gb for more than double. It is probably the fastest 1TB hdd along with WD (which is a bit more expensive) on the market now. Got mine for $30 so it was a great deal. If you want the best performance/storage space for your money I highly recommend this drive, the ST1000DM010 in particular. Only thing that's faster than this is an SSD which is much pricer for high storage models.

    Speedy & Quiet - Runs Windows 10 very smoothly and peppy for a mechanical drive (non-ssd ).

    This drive is a bargain now that SSD's are becoming commonplace and grabbing the market away from mechanical hard drives. This is still a solid and reliable drive. It's still peppy and on my system at least is so quiet I don't hear it at all, there's no whine or spinning disc churning noise etc...no grinding, no nothing. and I got mine pre-owned. Once freshly formatted it appears to still operate in "mint" condition, just as advertised.
