The Panasonic Lumix H-PS45175 is also known as Lumix G X Vario PZ ASPH telephoto zoom lens. With its broad focal length range, this 45 mm-175 mm f/4.0-5.6 lens offers users a high degree of adaptability for taking images far off, such as at a sporting event, as well as close-ups, such as portraits. This Panasonic camera lens also has a built-in Power Optical Image Stabilizer, which allows users to obtain clear photos without ideal lighting or even when the user's hands are shaky. Furthermore, this Panasonic camera lens is built with two extra low-dispersion (ED) glass elements, which help to decrease abnormal color dispersal along the focal length. Another feature of the Panasonic Lumix H-PS45175 45 mm-175 mm f/4.0-5.6 lens is its Nano Surface Covering, which is used to improve image quality by helping to reduce the abnormal bursts of light often caught in images like an artifact. With a floating internal focus mechanism manipulating three lens groups, this Panasonic camera lens is smaller and weighs less than comparable lenses, which helps minimize its effect on a heavy camera, but does not have any adverse effects on picture quality.

    Great Lens for Micro 4/3s

    Comparatively speaking, this is quite a small lens - it provides the equivalent of 90 mm to 350 mm in relation to a full frame lens - of course this is a micro 4/3s lens. I have used it on Olympus micro 4/3s camera - very nice images, in fact for the size of the lens I was quite surprised at the quality of the images. I have two Canon full frame cameras - there is not a lot of difference in the images between the Canon cameras and the micro 4/3s camera images - which is surprising given the difference in the sensor sizes.

    Impossibly svelte

    Very small overall size and it never gets any larger as focusing and zooming are all done internally. How it manages this must be magic. Incredibly light. Lovely images - sharp, crisp. I wish this internal focus/zoom was designed into my 12-60mm, as well (although that lens is otherwise excellent). Very happy with this lens.

    Sharp & Underrated Gem

    The two power zooms by Panasonic are the most underrated lenses in their lens lineup. Especially this 45-175mm PZ is super sharp and wonderfully lightweight meaning it can be carried all day while hiking yet has a tele equivalent of 350mm which is amazing. I bought the silver version. Normally I don’t like silver lenses, but in this case the silver is contrasted with black and dark grey elements that make it a very handsome and distinctive lens. The only downside of the lens is the slower f4 fastest aperture, but a faster aperture would have added weight and size and for me the actual aperture range is the perfect choice to create such a small lens. The most under-appreciated feature of the lens is the power zoom. While we can rotate the zoom ring manually, a power zoom is able to get ...

    Great lens!

    Very light and compact. Internal zoom therefore always the same small size when zoomed in. Excellent sharpness. This is not a pro lens but f5.6 largest aperture at maximum zoom is adequate for outdoor shots.
