While the purchase process and seller were very good, the item was so so.
I have 2 main issues. The unit has no cooling or insulation in the hopper. It makes great ice cubes, dumps them, and then they melt...really fast. If you bag it, the wet cubes freeze into 1 big cube. The second problem is heat. The fans remove a lot of heat from the compressor and blow it into the open. If it's in an enclosed space, it's going to get hot.

Ok, I am giving my transaction a positive review only because the seller does respond (not too quickly, but does) and they offered a refund because of errors made.
If you order this item, the chances are, you won't get this model. They shipped the older style and tried to say the one I got was correct.
