    I recommend it

    First of all, this is a fun little gadget, and I'd buy it again! there are pros and cons I should mention though. The pros are..... A good size and colorful screen (3"x 5") with 3 brightness settings/options, and its easy to set up (kind of like a basic alarm clock). It is simple, but has all the readings I'm looking for in this type of 'weather station'. As far as accuracy, it's pretty close (within +- 2-4 degrees), it depends on where you place it. I am in an up-stairs apartment, so it seems to run a degree or two higher. I don't know, maybe one of those more complex/bigger weather stations may be dead-on, but this one is close enough for me, and what I bought it for. The cons...... It runs on both battery, and electric power (that's not really a con). If it is unplugged, and running on ...

    Not good value.

    The back lighting has gradually grown dimmer to the point I have to be standing close to it to read it. This is similar to another weather station from these folks that has done the same thing. It's back light is now totally gone and I have to use a flash light to read it so I imagine this unit will eventually be the same way.

    Cool electronic gizmo

    It is a handy item..I would have given it 5 stars if it had wind information too...very accurate temperatures and although not easy to read if at a distance and angle it is certainly very usable. I really cannot find any negative things to say about its functions...it accurately displays the barometer and weather prediction...kind of a fun thing and a lot more accurate than the weather service around here

    Good weather station for the money...

    It has all the features I want in a weather station. The only reason for 4 stars is the display would be better if it were a little larger and used larger numbers to make it easier to read from a distance.
