    I've owned around 25 Harley Touring and Softails over a 50+ year period, been riding since 1965. In the same period, I replaced many batteries. This battery terminal design stands out as singularly the most difficult to attach the + and - cables. The design invites damage to the lead terminals. I ended up using my own attachment screws and fabricated the spacers necessary to proper installation and cable attachment. Seems it could have done better.

    Yuasa YIX30L Battery

    Be careful on your decision to purchase this battery. The battery only lasted 9 months for my 2015 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic. I kept the battery on a trickle charger everyday. Instead of paying to ship the dead battery back to this vendor, I put the money towards a new Mega Crank Battery from Battery Mart. It turned out to be a wise decision.

    Still Quality from the USA!

    Can’t tell you how pleased I was to find an American made battery to put in my Harley! This battery is DENSE. The acid comes with the battery separately for you to install. It said to wait 2 hours for the acid to absorb into the glass material in the battery fully. I waited 3&1/2. Installed it in the Road King and it cranked and fired up the bike like it was fully charged! Put it in the charger as recommended and 4 hours later fully charged battery! If I can get 2 years at half the price I’ll be an even happier man!!
