This is heavy duty industrial quality and will give years of excellent service. This is a disconnect switch and not a contactor. You can expect somewhere between 20 to 30 years service life. In high heat areas, such as ship engine spaces, foundries, etc the materials may eventually break down. Consider 20 years as service life under severe operating conditions.
