Reviews
"9-11 was practically the only counter-narrative out there at a time when questions tended to be drowned out by a chorus, led by the entire United States Congress, of 'God Bless America.' . . . it is possible that, if the United States goes the way of nineteenth-century Britain, Chomsky's interpretation will be the standard among historians a hundred years from now." --New Yorker "A badly needed corrective to news coverage of the present-day 'war on terrorism.'" --Norman Solomon, San Francisco Chronicle Review "Every word of 9-11 is more relevant than ever." --Amnesty International Journal (Ireland) "Chomsky laments that the U.S. government largely dismissed these human rights problems in its quest to "secure our interests." The invasion of Afghanistan was far from the first time NATO overran unstable civilian populations in the search for terrorists (Chomsky offers several examples in the book) and, as we now know, it was not the last." --Foreign Policy in Focus

Synopsis
Chomsky's international bestseller, analyzing terrorism, Osama bin Laden, U.S. involvement in Afghanistan, and the long-term implications of America's military response to September 11., One of America's most esteemed political analyst offers his analysis of the global build-up to the Semptember 11th attacks, the long-term results of American military action., Based on a composite of interviews conducted in the aftermath of the September 11th attacks, Chomsky, one of America's most esteemed and influential radical thinkers, uses his impeccable knowledge of globalisation and US foreign policy in the Middle East to shed light on Osama bin Laden and the long-term implications of America's military attacks abroad. Speaking out against responding to violence with violence, as such tactics only succeed in undermining democracy in any meaningful form, he demands policies of a more long-term, humane and honorable nature., One of America's most esteemed political analyst offers his analysis of the global build-up to the Semptember 11th attacks, the long-term results of American military action. He suggest what can be done to promote peace and justice.

This delivery was earliest date! Condition, value, quality - all as described. (My mistake was not requiring the publishing date to be 1958. This was 1977.) This IS a Viking Portable Library copy of Dante's Divine Comedy in English, translated by Laurence Binyon, but it is with a cover DIFFERENT from what was shown. The tracking number was listed as from "UPS", but should have been listed as from "USPS." Contact with this seller alleviated tracking issues. I recommend this seller! Thank you!

I purchased two books from the same seller; both were accurately advertised in product write ups. Seller responded promptly and securely packaged both books for swift arrival. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend this seller.

Arrived 13 days after purchase. Digipak 3 CD came in brown paper packaging coated on the inside. Not much protection for cardboard digipack, somehow it arrived in near perfect condition. Could have used some bubble wrap /sturdy cardboard. Tracking gave no information. Messaged them & they assured me it was on it's way. Location reads Florida. They ship from all over / my package read Jamaica, NY. Got a 3 CD Deluxe Edition in GREAT CONDITION at BARGAIN PRICE ! Nervous ride/Happy ending 😀👍
