I have had two back operations, that have not resolved the pain in my legs and butt. I cannot sleep through the night, without tossing and turning to aleviate the leg pain. With the Icy Hot lidocaine patches, I can sleep thru the night without pain, and I can function thru a whole day at work. These patches don't adhere very well and provide little relief. They don't have much heat to them. May work for you, but did not work for me.
