    Sonos Play 5 outstanding sound quality

    I’ve had Sonos speakers for years. They sound fantastic and are very easy to set up. It uses a wireless mesh network which helps you get longer wireless range throughout your house. These sound as good as Bose speakers.

    Works great, love it so much. Sound quality is good. Worth the money.

    I have this and a ZP90 and love them both. The Play 5 is great for rooms where you don’t already have a stereo system. With the built in speakers you can just press play on your remote or Phone/Tablet and it starts up. With the ZP90 I need to make sure my stereo is on and has the correct input mode selected. Each have there Pro's. The sound quality is very good and clear. It is not a full stereo system but it does pretty good and it can get very loud. Overall it works great and I have purchased 2 more of them for other rooms. They are worth every penny.

    I expected more

    I have a play one and found play 5 had a clearer sound in midrange, reasonable bass. Play one seem to have deeper sound but missing clarity at times. Did get Sonos 1 controller and echo dot to operate both units via Alexa voice command. Wanted to use line-in cord for occasional connection of iPod touch but the speaker will hum if I leave cord dangle out without iPod touch connection. Airplay Belkin adapter required play5 software input setting set to 10, which gave unsatisfactory volume and additional humming when not in use. I am glad I didn’t pay the original list price for this unit.

    Best audio purchase in years

    Great sound: clear and balanced. Somehow fills the house without being load. Hard to beat sound quality at this price. I tried and failed. Setup may be a little difficult for some. If you have multiple rooms, get the Sonos Boost for a better network and easier setup and changes.
