    Intense colour

    Good quality intense colour. I love the La Riche hair dyes. Have been using them for years, I have tried other makes, but La Riche is by far my favourite brand. Works best if hair is bleached or lightened first.

    They all work but lot depends on the base colour of your hair and condition

    I lighten my hair from dark blonde to lightest blonde using 'off the shelf' packets from just about anywhere, then apply the directions colour. How well the directions colour takes all depends on how much of your own colour you strip, If for instance you want a pale pink, you'd need to have pretty light hair. If you have darker hair, then all the darker more intense colours will cover your own colour. These do wash out but can leave residual colour in your hair for some time. Be careful with bleached hair and colours with blue/purple in them, sometimes this turns hair green, wich can be remedied by applying a red colour to balance the green out (even ketchup works in an emergency)

    This works best on natural light blonde or bleached hair, if you put this on top of dark brown or black hair it WILL NOT show up, or will look wishy washy, don’t be scared to bleach your dark hair, that’s what I did (at a salon) and then I put the red in the bleached hair myself and i love love love it!! And I get lots of compliments. To keep it looking vibrant, I mix a teqspoon of poppy red directions dye into my regular single use amount of hair conditioner, wash my hair, then use the conditioner/dye mix and leave it in my hair for half hour, I do this once a week, to keep it looking vibrant....also Mixing the dye with conditioner makes it last longer and means your hair gets a regular deep conditioner-helping with the shine.
