The innovative Toshiba FlashPath adapter enables users to quickly and easily upload SmartMedia stored images onto a desktop or laptop through the standard 3.5" floppy disk drive.One of the most critical advantages of the PDR-M4 is a newly-developed Digital Signal Processor (DSP) chip set that extends the battery life, while significantly reducing the time between shots and the burst shot rate. This new DSP technology provides ultra-fast boot times and burst rates for a true photographic experience. The camera also incorporates USB connectivity for fast downloading which is 35 times faster than serial and compatible with Windows 98 and USB-equipped Macintosh computers.
