    Updated, cheap and a modem/router combo.

    I bought this to replace my popular but aging Westell 327W. Wow what a difference. I'm not going to get technical but if you have an old wireless router and want to upgrade to 802.11 (n) and want a modem/router combo on the cheap then I recommend this. I would not however pay full price. Somewhere around $30 is a great price. The firmware is fairly new and seems they keep updating it. The wireless range is ok but not great. I bought a 9 dBi antenna to up the coverage and it worked well. I have Windstream DSL and I actually get slightly faster speeds with this.

    Netgear DSL modem and router.

    I highly recommend this product if you one of us people that live out in the country and DSL is all you can get. Works great but it is a little rough to set up. Well worth the money.

    Get this modem/router if you can purchase for $30

    Works great on ATT DSL in Texas. Using auto detect settings with no issues. No dropped connections like a TrendNet modem I was using. Wireless is working great as well. Cannot load DD-WRT on this thing is the only reason that I would hesitate to purchase at full price. If you can get it for $30 then I recommend it highly. Upgrade the firmware from the ASUS website.

    nice features but software is not intuitive.

    when you lose power, the software does not remember instructions. I had to pay an AT&T associated company to get the machine to work. When I had a power glitch, I could not get the router to be recognized by the network. I am currently using my old unit.
