Great Guitar
I've played guitar for 38 years. This is my first 12 string and my first Ovation. It's beautiful. The setup is spot on out of the box. Great action. It has great tone with or without amp. Some people complain about the tuner but it's not that bad and it's accurate. It just takes a little getting used to. My only complaint is about the roughness in the sound hole cuts. I'll probably run around them with some .0000 steel wool and they'll be fine. I don't think the strings will last very long but that's no big deal either. Overall, this is a good value. It’s really beautiful!
I was amazed at its low action and rich sounds. I usually play Martins but I gave this guitar a shot (it’s returnable) and was extraordinarily surprised upon unpacking. Played “Hotel California” and right off and I’ve barely put it down since. You’ll love the strings it comes with. (Consider purchasing a case)
