Seller was very responsive, item arrived on time. However, the items I received are not the items that were pictured (with no description of such). Seller seems to sell and ship from Amazon warehouses. Return process wasn’t going to be through eBay’s system, so kept items. I technically got what I ordered, but felt mislead by pictures and descriptions.

    Great Camera for price.

The Canon 60D is a step up from the 40D and the Rebel XTi I've had before. Although the 'kit lens' is a good pick, it does lack some features of a higher quality lens. To get the full use of the 60D, by reading the manual, you'll learn how good this camera is. Many adjustments and fine tuning can turn this into a near professional camera. For cameras in it's class (not a full frame sensor), it does just fine. Shooting in RAW format gives a multitude of options to use in Light Room or Photoshop. Very pleased with it given the price. There is not all that much difference as going up to the 70D, 80D or 90D.

  • Canon EOS 60D. Its a Winner!

I LOVE Canon EOS 60D. This is my fifth EOS digital SLR, and before digital I owned Canon 35mm SLRs. All those cameras were great, but the 60D surpasses them in several really important respects. Namely, excellent image quality--usable pictures up to 6400 ISO means less reliance on flash, more natural looking photos; features like hi-res articulating LCD; Quick Mode live view; and HD video. The 60D offers exactly the right balance of size and weight. The controls are intuitive and easily accessed--the control dial is great. It has built-in wireless flash control and an infrared remote sensor for tremendous versatility. While the 18-135mm lens isn't the best in the Canon line-up, it's perfectly suited as a walkabout lens, and that's the whole point. You can get some breathtaking pictures ...

  • Opens up so many options. THIS is where you start.

My 1st (and current) DSLR. Wow... For what you get, the 60D is often priced at a very good value. Not a full-frame and not a FF lens but pretty rich detailed, clear pictures down to the pixel. Great options for color balance. Love the way you can dial it in to fill in shadows with detail. Lots of good professional level options. Fast enough to capture facial expressions, light sensitivity let's you get away with no flash indoors with moderate light. In outdoor lighting you can capture which tooth on the bride's face still has a little film at the gum line that was missed during brushing - from 30 feet away (if you drill down). At night during the reception in dim lighting for the dance you'll need a flash or have to accept grainy pics at ISO 6400. Still about 2 stops less light ...

  • A very good all-purpose camera

My main attraction to the Canon EOS 60D was the tilting viewfinder, essential for photography in my work. But double-pushing the shutter release button, required for focusing in that mode, causes a delay that would be inconvenient for action photos. The included EF-S 18-135 mm lens works well in most situations, but I usually use an EF-S 17-85 mm lens. This camera has plenty of features, but the easy menu settings make it useful for non-professionals like me. Long battery life per-charge is a plus. This is a big improvement over my former Canon Rebel XTi.

  • Great camera, has met my expectations and works well for me.

I love this camera, it is my first DSLR and I do not think I will grow out of it for a while. The kit lens definitely has its limitations, but it is also really nice for the zoom capability. It works great for going on vacation or taking pictures around and not having to change the lens. I take some amateur macro photography because I enjoy it. I photograph equine sports which is why I upgraded to this camera because I needed the speed and focusing abilities. I also do some portrait photography with this camera and it is great. Same camera body my wedding photographer used too. I would recommend this camera.
