Does it have any historic heritage? Well, only as a representation of what is now a very expensive bayonet. I wouldn't bet on it being used or manufactured for a parade, but I knew that before I bought it because there are lots of comments about it online. Regardless of its clear nature as a reproduction, I am happy to have it.
