Arrived on time, new and sealed as stated I’m looking forward to watching the final volume of this brilliant series based on the Legendary Bruce Lee. My only issue was the price for postage & packaging shipping from US to UK but I understand it’s not like ordering from Amazon when the Postage & packaging is free from abroad but I’m pleased I’ve got my complete collection to add to my Bruce Lee DVD collection : )

  • Octivarium review

Dream Theater is my #2 favorite band of all time, odd time signatures, excellent musicianship, wide range of style, lots of double bass, the constant thought put into the music and the substance of the music and lyrics. This CD had a theme which was 8 songs on their 8th studio album utilizing the 8 octives (8 leveles)of music, which is where the title track comes from, Octivarium. Besides, this album really rocks, hard. I found it to be least expensive on Ebay, as opposed to buying it in a store in the mall or somewhere else, because walmart doesn't carry the really good band's CD's, they're only mainstream money grubbers who cater to the ignorant masses, and yet we all still go there, what's that say about us. At this point I have all but two Dream Theater albums and plan to purchase ...

  • oactavarium by dream theater

If you love groups like Rush, Yes, Kansas, E.L.P. etc... this group brings back the old pogressive rock that we all enjoyed in the 70's. Music with depth and meaning. I am the type that likes to listen to a great groups arrangements on the album. How they want you to hear there music and what order, especially if it's a theme album. This group is like the above, so I have know poblems with buying there albums on ebay instead of just digitally down loading them from the internet. I hope this helps someone in descideing with this mind expanding group.

  • Its Dream Theater- Nuff Said!

Octavarium (very uniquely titled- 8th album with 8 songs and the title track is divisable by eight) is a very solid album through and through. This was one of the few CDs that I was able to listen to straight through multiple times. Dream Theater rocks out pretty hard with Panic Attack, there is still a lot of variance in the song. The only song on the album that I do not like is I Walk Beside you, it sounds way too much like U2 and for me that is not a good thing at all. Octavarium is a long song, over 24 minutes in length, which makes it hard to keep your attention for that long. For those who loved Train of Thought, this is a change for sure, but it is very skillfully crafted and has so much variance in every song.

  • Good album

This is one of the first albums of Dream Theater that i enjoyed , dont get me wrong i always have apreciated them as instrumental players but they didnt have that music feeling that would attract you to listen to them (this is my opinion ) , this album i think i can listen to it all day long and i wont get bored , from Root of all evil to Octavarium you wont feel the time passing it is a very good album , you will see less keboard , guitar , solos and thats not a bad thing (i like solos but sometimes DT made too much use over them ) but even without a lot of solos you will feel the excelent technique that DT have , i surely recommend this album if you`re not a DT fan , to see the change that happened
