    I bought a WD2793A-PL02 floppy disk controller. The first chip was dead on arrival, confirmed with a chip tester. The seller responded quickly and offered a refund or replacement. I took the replacement option. The second chip passed all tests in the chip tester so it seems legitimate. Im not sure if this is a rebadged chip, to be honest I’d be happy with a Chinese or Soviet clone so long as it works.
