I bought the ring for the diamond not because it was an engagement ring. The semi mount is questionable to thin at bottom of ring .Won't hold up to every day wear.Like I said I bought it for the 1 1/2 blue diamond. It will go in another semi mount that shows off that blue diamond. I am not sending it back I will buy a semi mount for that diamond. In summary if you like this ring buy it for the diamond not the semi mount. I had it checked it is a diamond no question. the diamond is gorgeous.
