The stools arrived as expected. As described, they only took minutes to put together. Apparently, I didn't look close enough to see the stands were actually black-- and brown. But I think they look nice. I am a bit concerned that they seem just a little wobbly while you sit on them, but they should be sturdy. I am happy with them. I did contact the seller prior to their arrival about what I thought was an issue. He responded promptly and respectfully addressed my concern.
