Amazing silver dip
I am a fan of traditional paste silver polish, but when I started to collect filigree items and silver mesh purses, paste did not work. I was a little afraid to dip items of value in toxic chemicals, but what do you have to lose when the items look so awful and dull? Hagerty's Silver Dip beautified all my intricate, delicate silver items. I do not recommend that you soak items in it, as it tends to yellow the silver a bit. However, wiping the Dip on with a soft toothbrush worked very well. After the desired look is achieved, just clean the silver item with soap & water & dry thoroughly. I think I will not re-dip the items anytime soon, as the chemicals are harsh, and I have no idea what it actually does to the silver itself.
