Seems to be preserving my roof so far $$$
Have a 3 tab shingle roof. It is not leaking but the shingles are starting to deteriorate a little. Some of the tabs have become loose, the sand type coating was getting thin in places ect… I decided to try and get a little more life out of the roof so I rolled out 2 coats of this on it. I think it will last for a lot longer now. Its been over a year and the roof looks the same has not lost any more tabs. Fantastic roof coating!!!!
Purchased 2 buckets to coat my roof on a 12 x 60 MH First coat took about 5 gallons( thick ) the outside temp was in the mid 80s and inside it was probably close to 90 as I am sitting in the sun all day with no tree's for shade. I basically am sitting in a sweatbox. Put on the first coat and could not believe it when I went inside....the temp had dropped at least 7 to 8 degrees!!! I waited about 2 weeks to apply the second coat and really put it on super thick. This coat still only took about 2.5 - 3 gallons and probably dropped the inside temp another 2 or 3 degrees.Needless to say I am extremely happy with this product. So in summary here's what it all boils down to. I had a 12 x60 MH with a very rusty roof. I sanded it with awire brush , applied 2 gallons of rustoleum rusty metal primer. Waited a week put on first coat waited 2 weeks put on second coat. Had about 2 gallons left over from 2 buckets ( 4.75 ) each. My inside temp has dropped around 8 - 10 degrees and my roof looks like it has a fresh coat of snow on it. This stuff goes a lot farther than the specs say and is well worth the money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
