    Great microphone, well worth the money !

    i use the Rode Podmic for amateur radio and have it connected through a preamp to my Icom 7300 and everyone says I have superb transmit audio. The mic is heavy being a little over 2 pounds but I needed a heavy mic for the broadcast boom arm I use it with. This thing is built like a tank and I think you could run over it with a truck and not hurt it ! Very good quality, it's is a professional grade microphone.

    Well Built Microphone With Some Negatives...

    All points are just my opinions, your experience may differ! Pros: - Extremely well packaged - Well built, durable - Compact design - Easy to use (plug and play) Cons: - Not a fan of the sound quality (I've seen examples of people getting great sounds out of this mic, I was not able to get the same results) - Heavier than I would like (heavy enough to make a mic stand fall over) - Has a built in windscreen but does not stop plosives well (extra windscreen required)

    Beautiful Microphone and amazing sound quality!

    This Microphone is easily one of the nicest looking and cleanest sounding Dynamic XLR Microphones I have owned. The picture on the box really doesn't doit justice. The red grill on it just really looks amazing! I use it with the RODE Streamer X.

    Great Mic For The $$$$

    I purchased this mic due to great reviews. I use it with my rodecaster pro. Unfortunately I am having trouble getting that great sound. I would recommend this mic for only beginners and budget friendly lookers. For the seasoned users spend the money on legendary mics like the sm7b.
