Part did not fit my bike. I have a 1999 YZ 250 2 stroke. I did not like the quality and overall “look” of the tank. I did not realize this is an oversized tank for desert riding or longer rides. Rather hideous. It is hard to find an OEM tank but I found one at a local shop which is what I should have done I. The first place. I wish I didn’t burn so much money on this tank. I even tried to modify the petcock hole to fit my OEM petcock. And the mounts holes did not line up.So $250 down the drain…

Part doesn’t meet OEM specifications. Cylinder area is egg shaped not round. Package was in bubble wrapped envelope only. Part was bent with a crease on cylinder wall edge and bowed. Contacted seller within hour of deliver about damage and asked if better package as a cardboard stiffener could be added. No reply for several days. Ordered new OEM from Kawasaki dealer. Part arrived before eBay seller responded asking if I could make work. Waste of time for generic part. Last picture making it work
