It will still work for what I needed it for but was slightly disappointed that it wasn't as wide as pictured. I will also say that I too share some of the blame. I had looked and looked for a cheaper priced bookcase with the shape I needed. I should have looked at the dimensions in the listing and not go by the photo. Arrived quickly and price I thought was reasonable.
