About this product

Product Information

Mel Gibson is Porter, a ruthless criminal, who is gunned down by his wife and friend after they rob an Asian gang. When Porter survives the attack, he makes it his mission to exact revenge on his friend, who has used the robbery money to buy his way into a powerful syndicate. Added to the mix are crooked police officers, members of the syndicate, and the Asian gang, who are out for a bit of revenge themselves. Based on the series of novels by Donald E. Westlake, which were translated to the screen previously in John Boorman's POINT BLANK (1967).

    1000-fold payback revenge

    Mel Gibson - of course it's good! The story line is great as well. Someone wrongs him and he sets out on a well-planned revenge which very possibly falls into the category of "payback 1000-fold". There's not much to mention on the props, costumes, and makeup - pretty much standard. The other stars and extras do a fine job but I can't remember anyone who was better or worse than another - this possibly makes it a mark of a good movie. This 1999 release is in a NTSC VHS format. Recommended, but not for children. My reviews are written without any knowledge as to who the potential seller may be.
