Good, affordable beginner scope.
After realizing how bad my eyesight has gotten, I needed to get a LVPO scope for my 20" AR. I looked at several budget scopes, and read reviews and watched videos. I chose the TruGlo for a couple reasons. I got TruGlo red dots for the kids' .22 rifles and they've held up fine. They have lifetime warranty. This scope also comes with a .308 turret, so when I get a higher end scope, I can move this over to my .308 rifle. I did mainly chose this scope based on price, as I have a daughter going thru college, and funds are tight. If the scope fails, I will update this review, but on the first outing today, it held zero, was clear, has a nice crisp reticle, and was simple to install, and zero. Distracting reticle. Reticle is THICK. You have to aim around it. Glass quality is slightly better than a McDonald's happy meal toy. Don't waste your money. It looks too good to be true and is.

Not a bad scope, actually. It would be a great scope, for the price, if some brainiac hadn't designed it with a mil dot in the center of the cross hair. Needless to say that affects your ability to make precision shots at distance.

Best features for the money.
This scope was purchased for a lever action rifle. To be used at 125 yards or less. While deer hunting. Seems to be a perfect match for my Henry. Has all the features of a higher priced optic. Would be rated a 5 if it was lighter. Did not use the supplied base. Was able to lower the hight and weight with different base and rings. Supplied mount will find it's way onto something else. Excellent scope
This scope is perfect for the person's that wants a etched reticle and a center illuminated reticle. It zooms for 1-6 magnification easily with the throw level and is easily used to shoot with both eyes open. Eye relief is plentiful and adjustments are easily made. Mounted it to my AR 15 and it looks great. Painted mine to match my rifle. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I would have liked it to be mounted to a QR mount but hey you can't have it all. This scope is perfect for the person's that wants a etched reticle and a center illuminated reticle.
