Worth it
If you’re not into speaker competitions or replacing a high quality system in an expensive car, and just replacing the crappy stock speakers or speakers that don’t work (my case) then these are for you. I love sound quality, but I’m cheap and needed to replace some busted stock speakers in my car, these had a great price, and you get what ya pay for. Not the highest quality of sound, which I expected for such a cheap price. But it’s good enough and sound decent. These seem to be good little speakers. My only hesitation is that I haven't used them very much yet. The sound is terrific with a surprising amount of bass. They seem to have what some might think is too much bias towards the high frequencies. I have to turn the treble all the way down on my amp. But that could be unique to my installation and amp. They looked ok and worked ok
I bought them for a scooter I have no idea how they compare others as I haven't tried any. size was good center was to high I had to space it out,It would have been better if it had been recessed. I should have bought some that would have handled more watts,I guess you need to buy them to handle more than what the radio pus out now I know.

Nice speakers
I bought two pairs to replace an old pair in my old Volvo wagon. I wasn't too excited by the color, red and chrome, but they sound fine. I listen to a lot of books on CDs and I noticed the voice cutting through the auto noise much better than the old speakers. My head unit is not that powerful, only 30 watts per channel, so I'm not going to blow them out with their 200W peak rating. They sound great when playing them loud. Installation was easy, they weren't too deep and the screw holes match exactly. I still think the speakers and covers are a bit gaudy, for an old Volvo, but welcome to the 21st century. Good for the sale price
I got these on sale for $20 and they're well worth it. But I wouldn't say they would be worth the full $40. I compare them to my 3.5" Kenwoods and these are slightly quieter and have less bass capacity. Sound quality is good, just not loud. I think multiples of 4 or more of these would sound good.
