    Flaming river junk is poorly designed

    A customer recently paid a lot of money for a flaming river steering column only to find it did not come with everything necessary to install it in his vehicle. I had to purchase this overpriced stramp clamp. When I took it out of the box I noticed the holes in the stramp clamp did not line up with his column retaining clamp. After much modification I finally got it to work, sort of. I was very disappointed in the whole flaming river setup because after installing it we found out the turn signal canceling mechanism did not work. Now he has to bring his vehicle back to my shop and I have to replace the turn signal switch. The whole assembly was poorly designed and required much extra rework to get it installed. I definately would not recommend flaming river steering columns

    just buy it

    these bracket mount work good. you have to add 4 thin 5/16" washers to raise the column to make holes line up. then i used a large hose clamp around the column and bracket to hold down column. its not a perfect OEM REPLACEMENT. mod required but will work.
