    Denon AVR- s920w

    This receiver is truly amazing. The sound reproduction is first rate with flexibility to fine tune to your environment and more capacity than most of us will ever need. I have this paired with Paradigm Research speakers and sound at all volumes is clear and free of distortion, clipping or lag. Initial setup is quite easy. One small caveat: at initial setup you must have the receiver connected to a TV/monitor. Important detail if you are planning on using this for music only. As I write this I am listening to Sirius/xm with the onboard app and the quality is terrific. No need to stream from another device to listen, you can access and navigate Sirius and other online music sources directly from the receiver. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the micro adjustment for the volume ...

    Good overall receiver

    I had an older (15yrs) Denon receiver that recently died on me. I had complaints with that unit, so thought I would try another. My older unit was bigger and had all the bells and whistles. This unit is much more compact. It does handle all of the same functions. I like the assignable zone 2. My old setup was dedicated zone 2. One really neat feature is I can play music on zone 2 while watching a movie on surround in zone 1. This is great for our speakers in the other room. I have not tried any of the wireless functions yet. As our house was built 'wired'. But will eventually. The harmony remote does have trouble with the zone 2 thing. I have some ideas with how to address it though. Overall pleased and would purchase again.

    Amazing Dolby Atmos Receiver.

    This is a great receiver for home theater system. It takes some time for the sound test, room correction. But, after is done, it worth it. You plug blueray, media player, tv box, game set, dvd player directly to the receiver throuth an hdmi cable. Then, for the sound, I recommend a digital optic fiber cable from the receiver to the television set or projector. I love it! So far, so good!

    You can’t go wrong with a Denon!

    Quality unit for a decent price. Used this to replace my old Denon AVR-785. This new amp outperforms the old one in ever way. Much better sound, easier set up, and the quality you expect from Denon!
