Fast shipping and as described. Use it on my gate opener key pad, removed the 3 aa battery's and holder and hooked this reducer between 12 volt batt for gate opener and key pad which was 4.5 volts. The 1/2 volt difference is within the + or - factor. Works perfect and never have to replace batters again

Item as described. Took 10 days to arrive but with postage due of $3.65 on top of the $1.59 the seller had already paid, for a total of $5.25 for a 2 Oz package, Quite a lot considering the item only cost $3.25. In the sellers defense, I believe this item shipped in the middle of a Post Office rate increase which is beyond the sellers control. After seller was notified of the issue, they promptly refunded me the cost of the item ($3.25). We both got screwed, Only winner here was the Post Office.
