You might need the glue if it's handled a lot, but not to sit on a shelf display. Very pleased with the purchase! This was perfect for holding my crystal set. Note to the seller, a top cap with a spot to hold one open crystal would be a cool addition and set you apart from other sellers. Especially if you have a rare black crystal to display.

I contacted the company and was absolutely astonished someone actually answered the phone, I was able to send a photo of the problem I had by text message. They immediately sent me a replacement overnight. Hot Tip, heat the flagpole up a little with a heat gun or hairdryer and drive the adapter in slowly. Worked like a charm. Absolutely awesome customer service and very satisfied with the product.
