A kit to challenge the builder
This kit makes a fair representation of the old style gas pumps with the glass tops. Although are a limited number of parts, the kit comes with no instructions. Perhaps this was intentional to give the builder more of a challenge. For instance, the components include three fine wires and one wire of a larger diameter. Looking at the black rubber hose segment in the kit, I decided that the thin wires were to be inserted into the hose, so that it could be bent and shaped to hang from the pump. I used the larger diameter wire to enlarge each end of the hose so that it would fit over the metal trigger mechanism on one end, and the other end to attach to the metal pump. But care must be taken not to apply too much pressure or the metal will break. i never did figure out exactly how the hose and ... Additionally, all of the metal parts need to be trimmed of excess metal along their edges. Finally, the clear plastic top does not seat exactly level. The builder may want to go back to the eBay listing and print out an enlarged color photo of the assembled pump to aid in assembly. With these reservations, I would recommend this kit, and the finished product looks good on my O scale model railroad layout.

Nice Kit for My Layout - Instructions???
Nice kit BUT where the heck are the instructions. Only one photo in black and white. Hos lots of brass rods, guessing that they go inside the hose so you can shape it and then some other parts like a long handle, but this kit just needs a simple drawing showing where the parts go. Thank you.

Great for ON 30 layouts
The only thing I would say is that there were no instructions - that would be helpful as the pumps were so small. It was assembled by trial and error.
