Should have measured before I put it on
I’m pretty sure I got way more than 2.5” lift in the front. After following the horrible instructions and figured out that the springs/top hat must be rotated 180deg to prevent from hitting the body/frame install went well. My only issue is the front now sits almost 1.5” higher than the rear. I installed the rear spacers correctly but I’m the front is still around 1.5” higher. I ordered some .75 TJ spacers to hopefully get the rear up some more. Other than that it looks great. This is on a 2011 limited with Hemi. I would recommend not using the preload spacers that go inside the struts on top of the springs if you want it to sit level, at least in my situation I think that would have helped but I don’t wanna take the front back apart so like I said I’m adding some taller rear spacers to ... I’m pretty sure I got way more than 2.5” lift in the front. Great lift kit, but...
I learned that with this lift kit, you’ll need to use a spring compressor, which is an extremely dangerous tool many mechanics will warm you about. Competing kits, like that made by Rocky Road Outfitters, doesn’t require you to compress the springs. Do that instead! If you do buy this kit, you’re going to need a tool not mentioned in the tools list: a go-through (aka pass-through) wrench with an 18mm socket. This is a special tool you won’t find at Home Depot, Lowe’s, Pep Boys, or O’Reilly.
