Taylor timer
Good for our busy kitchen, buttons are fast to set and design is simple. The only bad about it is that we use the minute button a lot so it wears out after one season and we have to buy a new one. Like the new volume knob! 😀

Sturdy, brightly colored timer that allows user to time four different processes simultaneously.
This timer is the replacement for the same model that I have used for several years with one improvement -- a dial that raises and lowers the volume of the timer's ring. The product allows the user to time four different processes (for me cooking times) simultaneously.

Most Timers are Wimpy with Low Volume and Short Rings. Not This One!
The Taylor 5839N is nice and heavy, really sturdy, with non-slip material on its bottom so it doesn't slide while you are setting it. It can also be wall mounted, which I prefer, so that the large 1" high display of hours, minutes and seconds is at eye level. It has a volume control that goes from loud to louder and even louder than that, using four AA batteries. It can be heard from far away and even over music or TV sound, and it doesn't quit beeping until you press stop; so I can set it, wander around the house and not worry about hearing it, or missing it, when it times out. It is also four timers in one, a feature that is not important to me, but may be to others. Timer does not last long.
I own 2 of these timers and neither will work for over a few days without having to remove the batteries for at least a 24 hour period to restart the timer. So I get one timer started and can use for 24 hours to 4 days before the time freezes and must have the batteries pulled again. I need two timers to have one that works when I need. So you will need to buy 2 timers to be able to have one to work when you need it. My kitchen uses the time maybe 10 times in one day They do work well until it freezes. Sometimes it will freeze with the alarm going on.
