    Takes a few cuss words but once in looks and functions like new!

    I took the batteries out while installing since it was clearly going to take serious monkeying around to get it installed. Once my fat fingers accomplished the install...looks and performs great. Good price and good to have my 3-D-Cell Maglite back in top shape!

    It is just a piece of rubber

    Fits well into the recess to make the flashlight water resistant. It's a rubber seal that is seriously overpriced and one of the weakest parts of a maglite. This seal is needed to keep dirt and moisture out. Mine wore out after about 20 years of occasional use. If the use was daily then I suppose the part would need replacement quite often.

    Maglite black rubber switch seal button cover for D cella

    I indicated that the switch cover wasn't bright, It's black how can it be bright. It installed fairly easily and seems to stay in place as it should. I'm still holding on to the old cover as a backup - just in case. I waited for the old one to fall out again before installing the new one. It went back in easier than the old one did and seems to fit well. I have other D cell size Maglites and will order again from you if needed and recommend you to others as well.

    Rubber cap seal for MAGLITE flashlight.

    First of all, eBay guys..... this is a RUBBER CAP SEAL for the switch. It can’t be BRIGHT ! So I pressed NO. Do not consider this negative input as negative remark on the nice vender. Dear vender thank you for dispatching the rubber cap seal for MAGLITE.
