    Pricey But Authentic Quality

    Pricey but all Gibson parts and guitars are and always will be for a reason. Excellent replacement for the guard installed on my NEW limited run Les Paul Classic Lite. The pre-installed guard isn't traditional in the sense it has beveled edges and is softer cheap plastic. This item works well and is the real deal to give the Les Paul the look it should have already had from the factory (if you choose to install them at all).

    While the product worked well, it is way over priced. Regular pickup rings are about $10.00 each so you can get a pair for under $20.

    Overall I give it a 3 point rating mostly based on the price. Currently looking into a plastic maker to make bracketless pickguard also in clear plastic and a set of Gibson pickup rings for under $20 can be easily notched out. I have already built 2 sets for my other Les Paul's.

    High quality-perfect match!

    There are many Les Paul “Cream” colored pick guards out there, some less expensive than this one. But they are not all the right shade of “Cream” to match original Gibson Les Paul trim. This one is right on. I was restoring an old Les Paul Standard for a friend, and this matched the other Cream colored trim components perfectly!
