    this machine needs an experienced tech to be awesome.

    This box should be awesome, however, it is very tempermental when it comes to acceptable SSD's and HDD's. It has both SAS and SATA/sSATA controllers. It's been hard to get a stable SAS RAID array even when using hp certified drives. Also, only certain SSD's will remain stable in the SATA/sSATA array. I'm not a professional, but have read a lot of blogs and think I may have finally happened apon a stable configuration.

    Overall, very very satisfied!

    Crazy price to performance. One of the best deals on the internet. I am running Linux as my main OS and doing Windows in a VM with plenty of power to spare. If you are a power user, this is the machine for you. Works great as CAD/CAM, developer, or high end workstation. Very, very happy with this machine!
