It does reduce the noise and hooked up to ventilation easily. I'd say the noise reduction was dramatized in the reviews I read. Definitely more tolerable but not as quiet as the wind. The little cap that goes on the intake was full of plastic webbing (mentioned in a review) from the print process. I used a small screw driver to poke through the holes and break it free. Not sure how much that webbing would have affected airflow but I didn't want to chance it. Overall I'd buy again

Good product, fit well. Only complaint would be the quality of the print itself. Lots of spider-webbing and loose filament but overall the structure is sound

I am completely satisfied with the purchase. I have fitted the muffler I ordered to an Antminer L3+. The sound is much more tolerable with the silencer installed (instead of a loud hair dryer sound, it sounds like the wind is blowing outside).
