    so so geared motor

    Looks like good quality and works OK but this thing is LOUD! The gearing makes a lot of whining noise, so much you can hear it in the entire shop. Even over other operating equipment.

    Best gearmotors around

    These small sized but powerful gearmotors which have a built in gear reduction are excellent for many different jobs. Mine drives an on the car brake rotor machine. Dayton is a company that has been around a long time. The Dayton motor I was replacing was over twenty years old and the new one looked just like the old one no updated plastic parts, so I completely expect this one to be just as durable. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase anything this company manufactures.
