They arrived safe and sound. They do seem to work quite well. We'll see how well they work on my next doctor's visit---he's a VERY soft-spoken older man from Sri Lanka. A fine doctor, but it's quite a challenge to make out what he says sometimes. I'm sitting on the exam bench only 10-12 feet away from him at his computer---and I still have trouble. I tried one of those little box-type hearing aids that hang around the neck, and it worked fairly well. This current pair should work out quite well.
