The box was damaged, so I was nervous opening it, but everything seemed to be in fine shape, apart from a slight dent in the actual furnace . I sealed the fibers, and put on two coats of refractory cement, looking forward to starting it up,

Strongly recommend getting another pair of crucible tongs alongside this kit. Before your first melt make sure all the wool on the inside is adjusted neatly, some paint will peel on the furnace in your first use
