    In the end I got this part to work, BUT, I had to rework it to get it to work correctly. It IS an aftermarket part, not OEM. The inner face was too large due to molding flash which I had to remove. Then it pinched the O-ring and dragged it out of the O-ring groove, so I had to also rework the O-ring groove to remove molding "nubs" in the groove which were not allowing the O-ring to sit low enough in the groove. The contact point for the neutral switch is much smaller that the stock contact.

    This neutral switch assembly fit perfect...

    This neutral switch assembly fit perfectly and seems to have stopped the minor oil leak that I was experiencing with my original one. The original switch had a small crack on one of the "ears" & that or the original O-ring had simply shrunk from age (or a combination of both). Whatever - this replacement item stopped the oil seepage.

    They do function but not as well as OEM ...

    They do function but not as well as OEM the fit is to tight and the brass tab contact is very small compared to OEM and this can cause the neutral light to be finicky at times. but it does function and keep oil in the motor.
