The lens arrived in good time, but when I attached it to my new camera, it affected the electronics of the camera. The image was blurry and the camera would not turn off. This was a first for me. I bought this lens because it was much less expensive than any other vendors. I learned a good lesson here. I called Tri-State and they were puzzled. They had no problem offering a refund several days later.

    Clear fast and versitle

    Ihave only had a chance to use this llens one time but the results were excelent. The range of this lens makes it very versitile when out in the field. The auto focus worked well and quickly except when the camera was focusing on something near the subject, (ie. branches with the bird sitting on it)

    Tamron 70-300mm Len - Light and tight!

    An amazing lens for the money!!! Very light indeed for handholding even indoors...U can triple the cost of a similar specification lens, but would only gain a very slight optical advantage.. definitely a high performance vs cost, a real value!

    Very happy with it. Images so far a excellent. Not enough reach for Moon detail though I plan to get a 2x teleconverter later. So far it's great for nature and birds.
