Remastered USA version, the last of their albums to be released with a different track listing in America & Britain, "Let's Spend the Night Together" & "Ruby Tuesday" were both included having been released as a double a-side in America."Ruby Tuesday" went to number one in early 1967. Both the US and the UK version of the album was the last to be 'produced' by Andrew Loog Oldham. "Something Happened to Me Yesterday" features Brian Jones on sax and trombone. Regular keyboard players Jack Nietzsche and Ian Stewart are joined by Nicky Hopkins, who plays piano on several tracks, the start of his lengthy spell as a sideman. The iconic cover photo was shot by acclaimed rock photographer Gered Mankowitz.

Read Track Listing Before Buying
The Stones older albums are cool even if they don't contain any hits on them. Although a lot of them on this UK album sound vaguely familiar, there are no big time hits that are on this album. It contains Miss Amanda Jones and Yesterday's Papers which are the only ones I recognized when I first listened to this album. That didn't bother me though, it's still a very listenable album. One BIG difference on this album from the US version is that it contains Back Street Girl and Please Go Home, but Let's Spend The Night Together and Ruby Tuesday are absent. That is a big deal especially if you're buying this album mainly for those two songs. So make sure you check with the seller before buying to see which version you're getting. That aside, ... That aside, Let's Spend The Night Together and Ruby Tuesday are two of the Stones staples that should be in your collection. They are on the US version of this one, but on a different UK album (I don't remember which one, they have so many good albums sometimes it's hard to keep track). Anyway, besides those two songs, this album contains many excellent songs that should keep you listening intently for years, even if they're not as recognizable. Yesterday's Papers and Miss Amanda Jones are two good songs that are less heard of, but I think most fans will remember them, just to a lesser degree. If you didn't hear Mick Jagger singing on Yesterday's Papers, you might think this was a song by the Supremes (I think that's the group that Diana Ross was in, if not, my apologies), because that's what it kind of sounds like musically. Connection is a good song that kind of sounds like The Rascals. She Smiled Sweetly makes me wonder if this was where Tom Petty got his inspiration to sing the way he does, it sounds very similar to Tom's voice. Cool, Calm, & Collected is kind of a throwback type of song, kind of weird but cool at the same time. During the entire song except the chorus, it reminds me of movie music for settings in the early 1900s to maybe 1920s, somewhere in there. But then you hear medevil music during the chorus, and you're like huh? But it fits, and it's cool and different. Then they go off and do whatever at the end slowly speeding up until the ultimate ending. Cool song, probably have to listen to that one a few times, but it's definitely a highlight. But my favorite song on the album is All Sold Out, the chorus has a cool hook with a cool groovy bass line. Again make sure that you're getting what you want if you buy this album. Ask the seller for track listing if you're not sure. The UK version has Please Go Home and Back Street Girl, and the US version has Ruby Tuesday and Let's Spend The Night Together. Other than that, I think it's a good Stones album, but I'm a die hard fan, and I like all their albums. I just hope you enjoy this album as much as I do.

Found this to be a very good re-do of the Stones classic album. It was well worth the funds and like I said, a very good remaster of an early 60's technology album.
