This item was listed as compatible with Bernina 1630 models. If I had received the item in the picture, maybe so, but I got an item with a large metal support plate between the adaptor and the spring area. This plate does not allow the foot to attach to the machine. If it were narrow to the point of disappearing behind the spring, as pictured, I think it would work. It's just a poor knock off of a Bernina item. Also, the prongs for the adaptor were not shaped right.
